DIY keyboard? spinal I was wondering, for those of us that would like to try to MAKE a c64 keyboard... is the fake keyboard on the C64 mini removable in any useful way, would it be possible to acquire a replacement case/parts should something go horribly wrong? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- nicolafugazzaro [2]spinal Don't worry! A lot of online Chinese shops will unleash themself ... When the warranty expires, open the box and replace the fake keyboard with a Chinese spare [3];) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- spannernick1 Use a keyrah v2 so you can connect a real c64 keyboard to it,all you do get a c64 case with a keyboard put the keyrah v2 in it and the mini in the case(it will fit with the case on so no need to open it up),and you will be able to use original joysticks to,hopefully they have configured so the joysticks can use the numberpad on a keyboard (Numberpad is the pad on the right side of the keyboard where is says Num Lock)as port 1 cause they use the keyboard keys as the joysticks cause of Vice.Luck I have a keyrah already but its a V1. and I have a spare C64 that works, just need to remove the motherboard. If I want to do it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- References Visible links 1. https://community.thec64.com/ 2. https://community.thec64.com/d/77/1
