Darbyram an hour ago spannernick1 Tried this a while ago but it kept corrupting the disk when i renamed it to THEC64-drive8.d64 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Darbyram [5]spannernick1 Its shows it is corrupted when i rename it and open it in DirMaster. Loading it on the mini says 'file not found' and flashing disk icon -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maik [6]Darbyram hi I have the same problem. What did u do to fix it? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gurce [7]Maik Oh, didnt realise there was two threads with similar names :-) A lot of the convo on this topic has moved to this thread, hopefully you'll find some answers there: [8]https://community.thec64.com/d/289-you-can-load-d81-images-well-i-can-no-problem -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aneira I encountered an error I don't quite understand. I created a D82 image with DirMaster and saved some T64 images, renaming the D82 file to D64 afterwards as always. All of them works perfectly but one game (Back To Reality). If I create a D64 image instead that one game works. I have a hard time figuring out why that is and why it is only that particular game. There are only 1 single PRG file in the T64 image. When I say it does not work I mean it simply fails to RUN after it is LOADED. It just returns the READY command in BASIC. (And yeah, I know! Why spend a headache trying to load Back To Reality. The game is ass.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aneira Alright I singled out the problem. It had nothing to do with the image disk type. It seems it is the file browser "FIBR" which caused the issue. Simply loading the game without the file browser got it to work. I had no idea that could be a problem. What exactly does this particular file browser do that is any different to a manual load of the program file? Any ideas? If any of you have games that will not load. Try doing it manually. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- References Visible links 1. https://community.thec64.com/ 5. https://community.thec64.com/d/288/1 6. https://community.thec64.com/d/288/2 7. https://community.thec64.com/d/288/4 8. https://community.thec64.com/d/289-you-can-load-d81-images-well-i-can-no-problem
