I use real C64 and the Rpi3, but this was too cool to pass up and bought one. My issue is i use this is a PC room where i have monitors (not TVs) and the HDMI goes into the monitor but has NO speakers built in. For things like the pi - i use the HDMI out for video and the 3.5mm jack to carry audio to my room speakers. But this option isn't available with the c64 mini cause no 3.5mm jack. I'm looking for a cable where which works where maybe it has a HDMI/3.5mm jack on one ond of the cable to seperate the audio.. i see convertor boxes but 1> they need power and i'm already over doing it with power points), and 2> seems like overkill to change plug types when HDMI is fine. Anyone seen a cable, closest i've seen is this. EDIT: I think i found it if i can find it in stock, otherwie American site has it for $32 US - bit too much, but if anyone knows of another solution..... Some of the big names such as Samsung & LG incorporated TV features into their PC monitors. Go back 5-8 years ago and they will have every connection you ever wanted or might need including headphone sockets and/or RCA audio-out. A 1080p dedicated Monitor/TV will give you 1920x1080. C64mini outputs 720p which looks more than perfect on a 1080p as you wouldn't want to roll back to a max res of 720p.
