Or is there a program that will test all 8 of the buttons? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- spannernick1 [2]http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=38445 [3]http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=14046 [4]http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=31647 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- spinal [5]spannernick1 I need something to test all of the extra buttons also. I'm rewiring an iBuffalo snes controller to an arcade joystick and I'm having trouble figuring out which button is meant to be which. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- SirGeldi Type joy.cpl in windows start menu. Click properties. Press Buttons and write down the number. Do this with the Competition Poo and then with your SNES pad. EDIT : you better draw both sticks with numbers because the button numbers are mapped different. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- spinal hehe, silly me. I assumed that the software layer on the c64 would map the buttons differently to the way windows does. (as happens in plenty of other consoles). -------------------------------------------------------------------------- SirGeldi It is a bit confusing to find out wich is left and right fire because both do the same. But i think its C64 Left Fire btn1 --> SNES Y(green) btn 3 C64 right Fire btn2 --> SNES Z(blue) btn 4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- spannernick1 I am glad you are not doing it with TheC64 Joystick,I had so many problems just trying to add a DB9 connector to it.I might have better luck with my USB snes controller. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- References Visible links 1. https://community.thec64.com/ 2. http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=38445 3. http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=14046 4. http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=31647 5. https://community.thec64.com/d/241/2
