Summer Games,Winter Game are they the Olympics Games

   I was wondering if the Summer Games are the main Olympic Games and The
   Winter Games are the Winter Olympic games..?

   Yes they were modeled after the Olympics but could not use the Olympics
   name or imagery (such as the Olympic rings). Later on, Epyx did partner
   with the Olympics to produce The Games: Winter Edition and The Games:
   Summer Edition, which were licensed to use the rings and were based upon
   the actual Calgary and Seoul Olympics of that year (1988).

   If you like those games - there was a later release simply called - The
   Games: Winter Edition
   And it was great! I found it a bit more polished the Winter Games-
