Gab75 I noticed an odd issue, probably related with the firmware version (1.0.0). This "bug" happens only one time per session, after 4-5 minutes that theC64 mini is turned on: if I'm playing with a game the screen going black for a split second (and the audio stops), if I'm in the menu-carousel only the audio stops for a split second. After this "split second" bug all goes well, to test I did a session of about 90 minutes and all went well. In few words, this bug happens only one time per session, 4-5 minutes after the device is turned on. Did someone else find/notice the same issue? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Parcival I'm just going to try that and report back -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Parcival Tried a few sessions, nothing here regards black screens or and audio drops. Setup is 5v 2A adapter, USB stick plugged in read USB port, joystick in the other. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gab75 Thanks for your tests! [2]:) I'm using a 5v 1A adapter, but I don't think the issue is related with it... an insufficient amperage would give recurring issues (in any case, in the next days, I will test a more powerful adapter). What is the firmware version of your theC64 mini? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Parcival Build theC64-1.0.0.0-argent Build date 23-12-2017 00:34:11 Are you using an older HDMI cable or the one from the box? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gab75 I'm using the HDMI cable in bundle with theC64 mini... I'm using a relatively old Samsung Full HD LCD TV (2011), there could be a problem with the signal sync. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gab75 I remembered that the AC/DC adapter of my tablet is 2 Ampere, so I tested it with theC64 mini. Now there isn't any "black-out", only a small video interference for a split second (always after 4-5 minutes and only one time). Then, most likely, the issue is related with the AC/DC adapter! PS: the official manual says: "Any certified 5V/1A AC power supply with a USB port can be used" , but probably a 2-2.5A adapter is more appropriate. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- KenS I purchased a GE UltraPro Surge Protector with 8 outlets and a 2 USB charging ports on a 4 ft. (1 m) cord from the power strip. The USB ports are rates at 2.1 A, 10 watts. (not sure if this is totals for both) Have not had any problem with THEC64 mini. Frees up on of the usb ports. Currently have a keyboard in one port and a power usb hub in the other. Use this for joystick and usb sticks. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- References Visible links 1. https://community.thec64.com/
