Saved games

   Hi,
   I bought my C64 mini last night, really love it!
   However, when I save a game that I'm playing, when I turn the C64 mini off
   and on, it disappears from the load/save games slots?
   Slightly disappointing that it doesn't remember them?
   Typed in a basic program too hoping it would remember that in the
   load/save game slots but that also disappeared.
   Apologies if this is already explained somewhere in the web instructions
   but I couldn't find anything.

   Is that with the restore points? If so, mine are still there when I turn
   the system off.

   I take it back, i didnt realised there were restore points PER game!

   I thought the 4 restore points were for all games. Thanks.

   [4]budgie same i thought there were 4 total. not per game.
   per game, and 4 for basic is cool. id like to see more for basic.
   or even a way to save to usb.

   AHHHH Its NOT a console its a computer,I hate it when people call it
   that... lol.. [5]:) Anything that uses a keyboard is a computer,even if is
   virtual.. [6]:) Consoles play games only by cartridge and have no keyboard
   ,well the old one did, they are making them more like computers now,like
   the PS4... [7];)

   [8]spannernick1 Ahhh I get what you’re saying but I used a keyboard on my
   Wii and that was still a console. I used to call my C64 a computer but my
   actual computer that I use now is something I rarely even turn on and my
   mobile phone does everything I would use a computer for!

   Does anyone know how to reset a saved game in BASIC back to BASIC. I
   loaded a game in there and saved it, but not sure how to wipe it so it's
   back to the original basic screen.

   [9]greywulfe Select BASIC from the carousel, then immediately save it into
   the slot you want to overwrite.
