The games play great, except that the music sounds like it's slowed down. I'm using the North American 4/3. My thought is that it's still running at 50 hertz? Summer Games (A game which I played constantly as a kid) is when I first noticed it. The pitch of the music is different, I'm guessing because it's slowed down? Is there a way to fix this for us 60 hertz playing Americans? The sound effects all sound fine, which is even more odd. Thanks again for this. Despite the issue, I'm enjoying this a lot. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- spinal Even though I don't have mine yet, I can almost 100% say that they run at 50hz. I don't know if original C64 computers in the USA ran at 60hz or not, but the C64 was predominantly a European computer, so 50hz should be the norm for it. I have heard that when the C64 mini is officially sold in America it will be 60hz and not 50hz, so official American C64 minis will run at the speed you are used to. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- rogersyd I noticed the same slow-down of the music in California Games. Ran it next to the same game via vice on windows and was able to verify. The game appears to respond slightly slower too, but that may just be the button lag others are noticing. No longer have real hardware to test this with though. This makes perfect sense since this is a 50hz emulation. Hope that this can be fixed in firmware, but I can wait for the full sized US version if not... I'll probably buy one anyway [2]:) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- References Visible links 1. https://community.thec64.com/
